Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("Customer", "you") and A Better Bin Co. ("we", "us", "our"), operating in London, Ontario, Canada. By booking a rental, paying an invoice, or accepting delivery of any equipment, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

All bins, dollies, wardrobe boxes, blankets, and other equipment (the "Equipment") remain the property of A Better Bin Co. at all times. You are renting, not purchasing. The rental period begins on the agreed drop-off date and ends on the agreed pickup date as confirmed in your booking. Extensions are available subject to availability and additional fees.

All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars (CAD) and exclusive of applicable taxes. Ontario Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) of 13% is added to all rentals and product sales. Payment is due in full before or upon delivery and may be made by e-Transfer, credit card, or cash. Late or unpaid balances accrue interest at 2% per month (26.82% per annum).

• Provide accurate delivery and pickup addresses and access.
• Use the Equipment only for its intended purpose (residential or commercial moving).
• Keep the Equipment indoors or otherwise protected from theft, weather, and damage.
• Do not transport hazardous, illegal, flammable, biological, or perishable materials.
• Return all Equipment in the same quantity and condition (normal wear excepted).

You are responsible for any Equipment that is lost, stolen, broken, permanently soiled, or not returned by the agreed pickup date. Replacement charges apply at our then-current retail rates and will be invoiced to the payment method on file. Cracked lids, missing zip-ties, and graffiti are considered damage.

Cancellations made 48 hours or more before your scheduled drop-off receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours are refunded 50%. Cancellations on the day of drop-off (after our truck has been dispatched) are non-refundable. See our Refund Policy for full details.

We currently serve London, Dorchester, St. Thomas, Strathroy, Ingersoll, and surrounding communities in Southwestern Ontario. Service outside this area may be available for an additional fee.

A Better Bin Co. is not liable for the contents of any bin or for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Equipment or services. Our maximum aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific rental giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002.

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be brought in the courts of Middlesex County, Ontario.
